By Rosalind Russell – Visitors will be limited at St. Joseph’s General Hospital Elliot Lake due to a COVID-19 outbreak.
CEO Jeremy Stevenson says the outbreak was declared on the third floor of the hospital by Algoma Public Health yesterday.
He says visitation is restricted at this time with the only exceptions being for essential or compassionate circumstances.
He adds for more information the public can contact the health agency or their local health provider.
