By Rosalind Russell – The East Algoma Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police has confirmed the identity of the deceased person found on St. Joseph Island.
Constable Bev Gauthier says back on afternoon of January sixth, officers responded to a report of a deceased person located in the vicinity of P Line Road in Jocelyn Township.
She says the deceased has now been identified as Corey Hynes, a 52-year-old man from Sudbury.
She adds anyone with any information is asked to call police.
Gauthier says the investigation is ongoing.
