Diversity full-length film ready for launch in Elliot Lake

By Rosalind Russell – An Elliot Lake non-profit organization is ready to launch a full-length local documentary with a pizza party.
Celia Sankar, executive director of the DiversityCanada Foundation says the film, produced by the organization, is part of Golden Voices, the organization’s senior-focused division.

She says the film features interviews with residents and experts from Elliot Lake and abroad to produce the full-length documentary, called Joy and Resilience, focusing on overcoming life’s challenges and finding peace.

She says it will be launched on Sunday, December 15th, at a free pizza party open to all ages, at the Masonic Heritage Hall at 1 pm.

Sankar says admission is free, but they are asking people to register with the links available on our websites.

The DiversityCanada Foundation is a non-profit organization that was established in Elliot Lake in 2004 and for over two decades, its Golden Voices division has been helping seniors in Elliot Lake to remain active and involved in the community.
