By Rosalind Russell – This coming Sunday, residents who own a dog can take part a dog walk in Elliot Lake to help raise funds for dog guides.

Pet Valu, the national sponsor, and the Lions Foundation of Canada Dog Guides has teamed up to host the walk, which is held to help provide dog guides to provide people living with disabilities or agencies assisting people who have experienced trauma by providing dog guides at no cost and supporting them in their journey together.

The Elliot Lake Pet Valu Walk for Guide Dogs takes place this Sunday May 26 from Pet Valu to the Miners Memorial Park and back with registration at 10 am and the walk at 11.
