DSSAB building purchased for First Nation clients throughout the North Shore

By Rosalind Russell – Mamaweswen, The North Shore Tribal Council, Maamweysing North Shore Community Health Services Inc and the District of Sault Ste. Marie Social Services Administration have purchased a commercial property in Sault Ste. Marie to centralize services.  

North Shore Tribal Council CEO Allan Moffat says the acquisition represents a significant step forward in their commitment to enhancing the delivery of integrated and high-quality health services  to member communities stretching from Sault Ste. Marie east to just west of Sudbury along the North Shore Corridor and north to Chapleau.

Once the building is retrofitted to fit the needs of the partners, a dedication ceremony and grand opening will be held.
