Duck Race preparation will support North Shore Search & Rescue

By Rosalind Russell – The tickets are out, and the volunteers are set to help support North Shore Search & Rescue during Canada Day, July 1st in Espanola.

The Espanola Lions Club has teamed up with the unit to raise funds for the 24th Annual North Shore Search & Rescue Canada Day Duck Race!

You can buy one duck for $5 or get a flock of 5 for $20.

All the proceeds from the race go to the unit, which services from Blind River to West Nipissing, Cartier to Parry Sound, Sudbury, Manitoulin, and every point in between and will go towards ongoing training and equipment.

Look for your volunteers in the downtown, at local businesses or contact the Lions Club on their Facebook page.
