By Rosalind Russell – Elliot Lake is not only celebrating Canada Day but also its annual Uranium Heritage Days this weekend.
The festivities kick off tonight with the annual Street Dance and continues into Saturday with various family activities including a strawberry social, workshops including beading, canoe ride and geology tours.
On Sunday, the city with welcome Science North and the Masonic Breakfast and the holiday Monday includes a beach party, scavenger hunt capped off with fireworks to mark Canada Day.
