By Rosalind Russell – The Elliot Lake Fire Department is reporting no injuries after a Becket Boulevard fire early yesterday morning.
Fire Chief John Thomas says they received the call on Wednesday, around 2:20 a.m.
He says the fire crew arrived seven minutes later reporting heavy smoke and visible flames from the attached garage.
Thomas says the estimated dollar loss is $250,000.
He adds the cause of the fire is undetermined, so the investigation is continuing.
