Elliot Lake Radiothon numbers are in – that’s a lot of toys

By Rosalind Russell – The numbers are in for the CKNR 94.1FM Moose FM Christmas Toy Drive Radiothon 2023 for the Salvation Army in Elliot Lake.

The community raised over $3,000 worth of toys and $4,000 cash, not including private donations, which will all be going towards ensuring every child in the community has a present to open this Christmas.

The cash will go towards supporting the programs provided by the Salvation Army that help those in need in the city.

The Salvation Army partnered with the local radio station for the fundraiser last Friday.
