Espanola High Juniors rocks it out on the hard court

By Rosalind Russell – Espanola High School won the junior final of a basketball tournament in North Bay on the weekend. 

The Spartans defeated Sudbury’s LaSalle 66-57 in the final of the Green and Gold Classic. 

Liam Houle was named MVP.   

North Bay’s Algonquin won the senior final over LaSalle, 77-73.
