By Rosalind Russell – The hosting of the Second Annual Foundation Classic by the Espanola Regional Hospital & Health Centre Foundation will be the first major boost of funding for another piece of vital equipment for the hospital.
Foundation Development and Public Relations coordinator Terri Noble says the hospital needs to replace an outdated cardiac monitoring system.
A new one is estimated at around $400,000.
Noble adds the foundation is also once again partnering with The Moose radio station in Espanola to host the annual Christmas radiothon in early December, another fundraiser for the foundation.
