By Rosalind Russell – Espanola council has hired a consultation business to help in the hire of a new CAO/Treasurer.
Town of Espanola CAO/Treasurer, Allan Hewitt, says he has resigned and will be accepting a position with the Township of Asphodel-Norwood.
Hewitt says thank you to staff and the larger community for their support and in turn, council also expressed their best wishes in his new position.
Council has hired David C. King Municipal Advisory Services to prepare offers of employment and guide the municipality through the recruitment process.
Hewitt’s last day is February 2nd.
