By Rosalind Russell – Espanola’s Third Annual Heart of Gold Radiothon is underway today.
The Moose 99.3 FM – CJJM Espanola is raising funds once again for the Northern Ontario Families of Children with Cancer.
According to the non-profit, there are five families in the local area who are receiving supports.
The organization distributes around $40,000 a month to families throughout the North through its programs… ranging from gas to grocery gift cards, respite care, supportive programming and more.
Donations can be made in person at the studio at 90 Gray Street, or though Canada Helps or call in a pledge (at 705-869-6999).
The money raised will be presented to the NOFCC next week when it wraps up its 2023 September is Childhood Cancer Month Campaign.
