Federal offender known to frequent Blind River and other Northern communities

By Rosalind Russell – The Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement Squad is asking for the public’s assistance in locating a federal offender wanted on a Canada-wide warrant because of a breach of their statutory release.  

According to the release, 56-year-old Cory Peterson is described as Indigenous and has several tattoos.  

He is serving a four-year sentence for trafficking and is known to frequent Blind River, Sault Ste. Marie, Sudbury, North Bay, Barrie and Midland, USA. 

Anyone with information is asked to call police or Crimestoppers. 

Cory Peterson is described as an Indigenous male, 5’7″ (170 cm) 176 lbs (80 kg) with thinning brown hair, a greying goatee, and brown eyes.  

He has several tattoos, a Unicorn and Eagle Sun on his left arm. A skull and “FTW” on his upper right arm.  

He also has a Tiger and an Eagle head on his right arm, a Bear on his chest, and a tattoo on the left side of his neck.
