By Rosalind Russell – Gore Bay Mayor Ron Lane is asking for the public’s help following a fire at an apartment complex last night (Tuesday).
He says there was a major fire at the Woods Lane apartment building in downtown Gore Bay, so the community hall has been opened to assist the displaced.
He says the fire was contained by 8 pm.
Lane adds that anyone needing assistance can call the after-hours phone, and anyone wishing to assist with any of the displaced tenants can call the main office.
