By Rosalind Russell – Biidaaban School in Sagamok Anishinawbek First Nation has come up with a unique fundraiser where a teacher will dye his hair bright hot pink.
The grade eight students are already planning their graduation trip for the end of the school year, and that costs money.
The students need to raise $2,500 and one of their teachers, Mr. Maracle, has agreed to have his hair dyed if they are successful, and is understandably nervous since it will be a permanent, not temporary dye.
However, anything for the kids, so if anyone wants to contribute, they can contact the school with the assembly for the dye job set for next Friday, November 15th at 230 pm at the school.
To donate, visit the school anytime during the school hours of 12 noon and 2:30 pm.
