By Rosalind Russell – The City Of Elliot Lake and Explore Elliot Lake has been working with six other municipalities in the north to participate in the Discover Huron North GeoTour, Algoma’s first ever regional Geocaching Geotour!
Joining Elliot Lake in the Geotour are Huron Shores, Thessalon, Plummer, Bruce Mines, Johnson Township, and Macdonald, Meredith and Aberdeen.
The city is also offering tutorials on the popular activity through a website, as well as information sessions which will be held in the respective communities.
Adventurers are encouraged to download the Geocaching app and get started on some great exploratory fun!
