By Rosalind Russell – Giant Tiger in Espanola has raised funds through donations to ensure kids have an awesome Christmas this year.
Owner Dan Vanier says in November they ran a donation campaign at their cash counters to raise funds to go towards the annual Lions Club Agnes Michon Toy Drive.
He says they were able to raise over $5,000 and with that purchased toys which will be delivered this week to the Wrap-Up Party on Thursday.
Santa’s Elves will gather at the Espanola Legion at 10 am to wrap hundreds of toys for over 200 children in the Espanola and North Shore area with delivery under the tree this coming weekend.
