GSPS remains committed to investigating the disappearance of Meagan Pilon

By Rosalind Russell – The search for what happened to a missing teen over a decade ago continues.

Greater Sudbury Police Service communication supervisor, Kaitlyn Dunn, says this week will mark 11 years since Meagan Pilon was reported missing.

Her family was well known in the Espanola area at the time of her disappearance in the City of Greater Sudbury.

Since then, Dunn adds detectives have followed-up on numerous leads and have interviewed several witnesses.

Dunn says she was reported missing by her father after she failed to return home.

At the time of her disappearance, Meagan was 15 years old and was described as 5’10’ tall, approximately 140 lbs., with dark hair, hazel eyes, and a small scar on her right upper lip.

Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the Greater Sudbury Police Service at 705-675-9171 or Crime Stoppers 705-222-8477.
