By Rosalind Russell – Nearly 160-thousand Dodge Ram 1500s in Canada have been recalled due to a software malfunction in the anti-lock brake system that can increase the risk of a crash.
Officials from Chrysler parent company Stellantis says world-wide, the recall includes nearly 1.23 million vehicles includes model years in 2019, and 2021-2024.
It’s said the malfunction may result in the anti-lock brake system control module disabling the electronic stability control system.
No injuries have yet been reported as a result of the recalled malfunction.
