History sought for Mississaugi First Nation

By Rosalind Russell – Chad Cowie, the historical researcher for Mississaugi First Nation and its six-member communities will be in Mississauga First Nation later this week to talk to individuals about their histories.

He says he is looking for oral traditions and historical accounts to be recorded for future generations.

He will be at the Cultural Building this weekend from 10:00 am – 5:00 pm and is asking if any individual or group wants to take part to set up an interview with him.

Cowie adds at 6 pm he will provide an update on how the project has progressed so far.

The link to register is available on our websites.
