By Rosalind Russell – The Huron-Superior Catholic District School Board has elected its new leadership for the board of trustees.
During the monthly meeting held on Wednesday, Sandra Turco was newly elected as Chairperson, while John Bruno was re-elected as Vice-Chairperson.
Turco says the students are at the centre of everything the board does, and she looks forward to working with the board to ensure they make the best possible decisions for their education, growth, and well-being.
Bruno echoed her commitment, adding their role is to listen, support, and make decisions that positively impact our students’ learning experiences.
The board oversees schools throughout the local region including Sacred Heart in Espanola and St. Mary in Massey.
