By Rosalind Russell – The Township of the North Shore has hired a new Integrity Commissioner.
At last week’s council meeting members approved hiring Charles A. Harnick with ADR Chambers Incorporated for the next four years, 2025 to 2029.
From 2019 to 2024, Expertise for Municipalities (E4M) provided the municipality with Integrity Commissioner services.
Under the Municipal Act, 2001, all municipalities in Ontario are required to appoint an Integrity Commissioner to ensure accountability and transparency in municipal governance.
