By Rosalind Russell – There will be an information session in Massey this weekend focusing on radon.
November is Radon Awareness Month across Canada and Algoma Radon Testing is hosting information sessions in various communities across the North Shore to raise awareness.
Officials say high radon levels can affect people’s health and is a known cause of lung cancer.
Tomorrow’s session runs from one pm to three pm at the Massey Public Library.
A second session is set for the Webbwood Public Library from one pm to three pm on November 16th.
The public is invited to attend.
