By Rosalind Russell – Two North Shore Corridor libraries are being supported by the wider community.
The Massey and Webbwood Libraries have received supports from various donors.
Dortwood Observatory in Webbwood has donated a telescope to the Massey Library, which allows for the creation of the Starry Skies Lend-a-Scope Program and users can use their library card to check out and take it home and check out the skies.
Another anonymous donation of a second telescope was also made in memory of the late Stuart Scott Eaton for the Webbwood Library.
And the Webbwood branch also recognizes the Creasy/Tibbits family, former residents of Webbwood, for their donation of the Lego Wall for children to let their imagination and creativity soar. And once again, the anonymous donor also supported the Massey library with a second Lego Wall.
