(GORE BAY, ON) – The Manitoulin Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are currently investigating a residential structure fire in Gore Bay.
On Tuesday, April 1, 2025, at approximately 5:30 p.m., the Manitoulin OPP, alongside the Gore Bay Fire Department, responded to a residential structure fire at an apartment complex on Meredith Street in Gore Bay.
All residents were safely evacuated from the building, and there were no injuries. The fire was fully extinguished, however the structure sustained significant damage.
The investigation is continuing with assistance from the Office of the Fire Marshal (OFM). Updates will be provided as additional information becomes available.
