McHappy Day resounding success

By Rosalind Russell – McDonald’s McHappy Day in the North Shore corridor was a huge success this year.

Jason Bourne, the manager of the Espanola franchise says the outlets in the local market including Elliot Lake, raised an astounding $26,270 on Wednesday.

He says the money will all stay in the local area going to Ronald McDonald House in Sudbury, which provides a home away from home for children receiving treatment at NEOKids or Health Sciences North.

He extends a thank you to the public for all their support this year.
