Moose FM Christmas Toy Drive Radiothon for the Salvation Army

By Rosalind Russell – The Salvation Army is hoping the public will open their hearts and their wallets to helping them out once again in the Annual Moose FM Christmas Toy Drive Radiothon in Elliot Lake.

Salvation Army Major Darlene Hastings says the members and volunteers will be collecting toys, which will be distributed to children in the community.

She says the money collected will go towards supporting the other Salvation Army programs that help those in need in the community.

Hastings says they will be set up in front of the Moose radio station, 94.1 FM, at 144 Ontario Avenue from eight am to two pm this Friday.

She adds the donations are very much appreciated and thanks everyone in advance for their support.

If you would like a receipt for your donation, please put the money in an envelope with name and address w/postal code.
