By Rosalind Russell – The Conseil scolaire du Grand Nord has a new assistant superintendent of business.
Shannon Chevrier will begin her new position today and over the next few months will be working with business superintendent Alain Gelinas to take over his position in July of next year.
Chevrier holds a Bachelor of Commerce and a Master of Business Administration from Laurentian University and currently works as Senior Business Manager and Accountant for the Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services.
In her new role, she will be responsible for the management, administration and coordination of the Board’s financial and legal affairs, overseeing the Finance, Plant Operations and Information and Technology sectors.
