By Rosalind Russell – St. Joseph’s General Hospital in Elliot Lake officially welcomed Kelli-Ann Lemieux as its new President and CEO, effective yesterday.
Board Chair Elaine Johnston says with 26 years of healthcare experience, including 19 years in progressively senior roles, Lemieux joins the Elliot Lake team from Health Sciences North, where she served as Vice-President of Surgical and Clinical Services and President of Sudbury Vascular Laboratory Ltd. “
Lemieux says community hospitals are an important part of the healthcare system, and she looks forward to maintaining and growing services to meet the evolving needs of the community.
Johnston, on behalf of the board, also extended a thank you to Vickie Kaminski for her leadership as Interim CEO over the last few months.
