NOSDA AGM being held in Sudbury

By Rosalind Russell – Shaping the future of human services is the focus for the Northern Ontario Service Deliverers Association this week.

The group — which includes officials with the Manitoulin-Sudbury District Social Services — is holding its annual general meeting in Sudbury.

Over 180 people from across the north are taking part.

Several topics are being covered in keynote addresses, panel discussions and other sessions.
Some include housing and homelessness, the opioid crisis and healthcare in the north.  Officials say they’re looking to expand partnerships and improve stakeholder communications, promote best practices, improve client outcomes and more.
