By Rosalind Russell – A local foundation is disbanding and presented $100,000 to the North Shore Health Network Foundation to be used for medical services.

North Shore Health Network CEO, President Tim Vine says the board of the Matthews Memorial Hospital Foundation presented their foundation with the cheque for $100,000 in reserved funds for the Richards Landing – Matthews Site.

He says the Matthews foundation was founded in February 2014 to raise funds for the site but will disband as of the end of this year.

Vine adds they’re blessed to be supported by great community members and thank the Matthews foundation for their years of work.
