OFSAA Girls three-day volleyball tournament starts today

By Rosalind Russell – For the next three days, 20 female teams will take part in the Ontario Federation of Secondary School Athletics Volleyball Championship being hosted at various locations in Blind River, Elliot Lake, and Mississauga First Nation.

The tournament includes teams from across the province and closer to home from Espanola, Elliot Lake, and Blind River.  

The public can take in the tournament for $10 per day or $20 for the entire tournament.  

The last time an OFSAA tournament was hosted in the North Shore area was 1989.
