Potential future provincial Liberal leader visiting Espanola

By Rosalind Russell – The potential new leader of the Ontario Liberal Party will be visiting Espanola later this month.

According to the release, Nathan Erskine-Smith will be coming to Espanola for a breakfast meeting with party supporters and the wider public.

Erskine-Smith serves as the Liberal Member of Parliament for Beaches-East York, having been elected three times since 2015.

He was raised in the east end of Toronto, obtaining his BA and JD from Queen’s and his Master of Laws from Oxford where he studied constitutional law.

While practising commercial litigation, he pursued the Liberal nomination because he says he was frustrated by a Conservative majority government and the Liberal Party of Canada needs renewal.

The public is invited to meet him at the Espanola Legion in Espanola on Friday, April 14th at 9:30 am.
