By Rosalind Russell – A Manitoulin Island First Nation will officially kick off the 2023 Powwow Trail this weekend.
Aundeck Omni Kaning First Nation will host its 31st annual Powwow this Saturday and Sunday.
The theme this year is Remember, Reconnect and Revive.
Grand entries will be held tomorrow at noon and 7 pm, Sunday at 12 noon.
Everyone is invited to attend with free parking, but to follow powwow etiquette including no pets or alcohol and to respect the protocols put in place.
