By Rosalind Russell – Algoma-Manitoulin MPP Mike Mantha says the provincial government will be hosting a pre-budget consultation on Manitoulin Island.
Mantha says on December 4th, the Standing Committee on Finance and Economic Affairs will be holding the consultations, which will provide the opportunity for organizations and municipalities to present their challenges and needs in advance of the 2025-26 Ontario Budget.
Mantha adds there are multiple ways to participate, including attending in-person or by Zoom, as well as by submitting written materials to the committee adding the deadline to request to appear before the committee is November 25th (at 5:00pm (EST)).
