By Rosalind Russell – Radio-Chaud celebrated its 20th anniversary highlighting the musical and promotional talent of students from the Conseil scolaire du Grand Nord last week.
The board says over 100 students from high schools in Elliot Lake, and seven other schools presented their original compositions during the Grande Finale held on May 16th at Laurentian University in Sudbury.
Throughout the school year, students attended workshops led by industry professionals, and then every school composed an original song reflecting the uniqueness and diversity of its community.
Both the original and cover songs were then recorded in a professional studio, providing students with an authentic and memorable experience in the music creation process.
