By Rosalind Russell – Motorists are asked to be extra vigilant when travelling on Old Nairn Road.
Huron Central Railway has issued a notice that a new railway safety stop sign has been installed on the roadway, and motorists should be prepared to stop.
The notice also emphasizes the new stop will be enforced by company staff, OPP, Interfor, and the Township of Nairn & Hyman
This portion of the rail line provides freight service to the Interfor Sawmill located in Nairn Centre.
