Recovery brunch being hosted in Espanola

By Rosalind Russell – Espanola is hosting an inaugural Espanola Addiction Recovery Brunch this Spring.

Noojmowin Teg Health Centre Mental Health & Addictions Counsellor Allison Dodge says the brunch will be an opportunity for everyone to come together as a community to raise awareness of addiction, decrease stigma, hear inspiring stories, and provide information on the services available in the Espanola and North Shore area.

She says the brunch is set for Wednesday, March 27th starting at 10 am at the Espanola Royal Canadian Legion.

Pre-registration is required.

Dodge adds the event is being supported by Espanola Regional and Health Sciences North hospitals, Manitoulin-Sudbury DSAB, and the Espanola Family Health Team as well as their organization.

She says pre-registration is required but names will be kept confidential.
