School buses cancelled for Sacred Heart and St. Mary Schools


By Rosalind Russell It’s a snow day in Sudbury and Manitoulin, but buses are still running in the Algoma District.

Today is a professional development day for most schools serviced by the Sudbury Student Services Consortium, but that is not so with two schools in Espanola and Massey.

However, the consortium states the buses for both Sacred Heart School and St. Mary School have been cancelled due to poor road conditions and in the interest of student safety. 

School buses are still running in the Algoma District.
