By Rosalind Russell – Espanola’s Boogie Mountain will be able to offer free sliding, but rules must be followed.

The sliding will take place on this Saturday (January 20th) from 11 am-4 pm.

Staff will be hand for everyone to sign a waiver, no one can start higher than the designated area, everyone must wear a helmet, some are available for those who do not have one, no littering and respect other users.

The move comes following the news that the Espanola Golf & Country Club is no longer allowing sledding, cross-country skiing, or walking on their grounds on the recommendation of their insurance provider.
