By Rosalind Russell – The Espanola-North Shore Snowarama set for this coming Sunday is going ahead, but without the ride.
Easter Seals Program Manager Carmen Bazinet unfortunately says the mild temperatures and lack of snow has led to the closure of the trails, specifically between Espanola and Nairn Centre.
She adds for that reason, participants will not ride this year, and the luncheon cancelled, but the fundraiser will continue, so pledges will be gathered Sunday morning at 9 am at Tim Hortons followed by the awards night at the Webbwood Eagles Hall at 5 pm.
