By Rosalind Russell – St. Joseph General Hospital in Elliot Lake will be looking for a new CEO.
The board announced that Jeremy Stevenson has accepted a President and CEO position in the Ottawa Region, but he will stay on until a replacement is found.
Stevenson says he accepted the Ottawa position to be closer to his aging parents.
He expressed his gratitude to the entire hospital community for their dedication and support during his tenure.
The board says they are beginning the search for a new CEO immediately with Stevenson staying on until the end of summer.
