St. Joseph General Hospital Foundation looking for Swiftie fans

By Rosalind Russell – St. Joseph General Hospital Foundation is hoping local Swiftie fans will support their latest fundraiser to cap of the oncology campaign.

Former Foundation Chair Bill Elliot says the original $1.2 million needed for updates to the Elliot Lake facility have risen to over $1.8 million, so they are hoping a pair of Taylor Swift tickets and $1,000 in cash for her Toronto concert on November 16th will finish the campaign.

Some of the funds will also go to the St. Joseph Manor and the Oaks Centre.

He says the raffle tickets are now available online and are expected to sell quickly.
