By Rosalind Russell – Nearly 12.8 million dollars will help send kids to camp this year in Canada following another successful Camp Day
Locally, Elliot Lake had a stellar day raising just over $9,200 with Blind River at just over $2,100, Little Current at $2,900 and McKerrow at a high of nearly $4,100.
Espanola’s efforts brought in $4,355.
Every year, 100% of proceeds from the sale of hot and iced coffee is donated to Tim Hortons Foundation’s Camps with the funds going towards sending an average of four youngsters to camp from each franchise coverage area.
