By Rosalind Russell – Tim Hortons across the country are revving up for their annual Camp Day and the 50h anniversary of the event.
All the proceeds from the sale of coffee and cold drinks go towards sending local children to camp, an average of four youngsters per franchise.
Camp Day is set for next Wednesday, July 17th and the Moose will be on site in Espanola and Elliot Lake from ten am to noon to promote the day’s activities, which include washing windshields and children’s activities.
Anyone wishing to volunteer to help are asked to contact their local franchise to sign up.
