By Rosalind Russell – The Conseil scolaire catholique Nouvelon has awarded its Vision Scholarships to outstanding graduating class students who have fulfilled the requirements of their Ontario Secondary School Diploma.
Communication director Paul de la Riva says the $500 scholarship is awarded annually to two students from each CSC Nouvelon secondary school and one from Carrefour Options+ Laureates as selected by the principal of their respective schools.
Blind River’s Jeunesse-Nord recipients are Shyra Benjamin and Summer Pilon and Espanola’s La Renaissance recipients are Morgan Wagler and Kaeden Levesque.
He adds all the deserving students reflect the board’s vision of thriving French-language Catholic students, proud and ready to take their place in society.
