By Rosalind Russell – The Spring water main flushing in Espanola has been postponed until next week.
Public Works Superintendent, Dave Parker, says due to the unseasonably cold temperatures, the decision was made to delay the flushing until next Monday, April 21st.
He says flushing will take place in designated areas from 3:30 pm to 11:30 pm daily starting from the south end of town and moving north.
Parker adds flushing may cause temporary loss of pressure and/or discolouration adding iron rust remover will be available through Public Works.
