Wikwemikong Tribal Police introduce new themed service vehicle

By Rosalind Russell – The Wikwemikong Tribal Police Service has taken delivery of a new Wagoneer Community Services Vehicle for the service.

The vehicle has been painted in bright orange with different designs identifying the themes for missing and murdered indigenous woman and girls and boys, along with recognition of “every child matters”, and Truth and Reconciliation.

The service will utilize the vehicle throughout the Manitoulin and within their own community to honour local families, and those who have been affected by the themes featured on it.

The vehicle was unveiled earlier this week.
