By Rosalind Russell – Work is being carried out on Little Current’s Swing Bridge’s deck and steel plates all this week starting this evening.
It is anticipated it will be finished by Saturday, July 27th.
Welding work will only take place during the evening/night hours.
Once the work begins, blocker vehicles will be put in place and the wig wags lowered.
When traffic is present to cross, the blocker vehicles will be removed, wig wags lifted and traffic will be allowed to flow normally, so expect some delays of up to 20 minutes or more.
OPP and EMS have also been notified.
